Valerie Hartford, Business Law and Estates

A graduate of Rivier College with a Paralegal Certificate from Granite State College, Valerie has worked with attorneys in a paralegal capacity since 1999. She joined Oertel, Koonts & Oertel, PLLC in 2013.

When not assisting clients, drafting legal documents or maintaining reference files, Valerie enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, reading and traveling.

Dana Haynes, Guardianships and Litigation

A graduate of UNC-Greensboro, Dana has been a paralegal in Guilford and Alamance counties since 1992. Dana has lived in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina her entire life and lives in Jamestown with her husband and Daughter.

When not working, she enjoys boating, crafting and DIY project, and spending time with her family and friends.

In our firm, Dana assists our attorneys with litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, guardianships, and juvenile matters.
