Paul is recognized for his clear communication, strategic guidance, and sound judgment as he counsels his clients on high stakes matters.

Paul earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina University in 1988, followed by a master’s degree from the University of South Carolina in 1990. He completed his J.D. at the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1995. Professionally, Paul has developed comprehensive experience managing business transactions and commercial disputes, as well as helping companies address complex ownership and operational challenges. His litigation work includes construction-related legal matters and a broad range of commercial cases, where he is known for his thorough preparation and consistent, levelheaded advocacy.

Deeply committed to community and economic development, Paul has served for several years as Chairman of the Alamance County Chamber of Commerce. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jeanmarie, and their three children, as well as traveling, playing golf, and spending time at the lake.
