Born and raised in Western North Carolina, I moved to Alamance County in 1999 to attend school at “Elon College.” I met my wife while in school and we decided to make Alamance County our home. I spent the first 5 years of my profession career working for a local bank in various capacities during which I pursued and obtained my MBA degree. In 2008, I decided to make a career change and left the banking field to pursue my legal degree. I began working with Oertel, Koonts & Oertel in 2011. My interests include chasing my children around and attempting to spend as much time as possible outdoors.
